Focused on families, businesses, and individuals, this unique health initiative is a win-win for the entire community. Boland Prosthetic & Orthotic Center has presented the Cantrell 5K for 10 years. We love this event because it gives our patients an opportunity to challenge themselves after recovering from an amputation. Cash prizes are awarded to the fastest amputee runners of the 5K.  Regardless of ability, all who come out and participate are an inspiration. Some amputees come to run or walk the 5K, while others run or walk the 1 mile Fun Run. Some just come out to see what’s going on and support others.  The point is not the competition, but for each person to achieve their maximum potential. Congratulations to all participants.
